They ensure a positive, memorable experience by answering inquiries, resolving complaints, and coordinating with housekeeping. This role requires strong communication, multitasking skills, and proficiency in property management software.
Key Responsibilities Guest Service:
Welcome guests, register them, and assign rooms upon arrival while ensuring a friendly, professional demeanor.
Reservations & Billing:
Manage phone/online reservations, process payments (cash, credit card), and handle check-out procedures.
Communication:
Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready and clean.
Issue Resolution:
Address and resolve guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Information Hub:
Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions, and arrange services like taxis.
Brand Hearted:
Must complete all brand required online training, become familiar with the Marriott Bonvoy membership program, learn and incorporate all Marriott brand standard requirements into the duties of the position.
Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:
Previous experience in customer service or the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
Skills:
Excellent communication, multitasking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Technical:
Proficiency with computer systems, including hotel reservation software (PMS) and Microsoft Office.
Flexibility:
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work 2 out of the 3 shifts:
AM Shift:
7:00AM-3:00
PM PM Shift:
3:00PM-11:00
PM Night Audit:
11:00PM-7:00
AM Attitude:
A positive, proactive, and friendly demeanor. Must be welcoming, pleasant and confident. Front desk agent must be well groomed and in uniform at all times.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
