Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hotel team. This role requires flexibility and the ability to work various shifts, including first shift, second shift, and overnight when needed. The front desk is the first point of contact for our guests, so we are looking for someone who is friendly, organized, and can provide excellent service while supporting smooth hotel operations. Schedule Night Audit hours are 11pm
- 8am. Starting Pay $11.00 per hour during the introductory period After successfully completing the introductory/probationary period, pay will increase to the standard starting rate for regular front desk agents. Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a warm and professional manner
- Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and guest inquiries
- Handle guest concerns or requests with professionalism
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
- Assist with daily reports and basic administrative tasks
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping and management
- Follow all brand standards, procedures, and timeliness expectations
- Perform or assist with night audit duties when scheduled Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Calm under pressure and multi-task with composure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sales or upselling experience preferred
- Previous hotel or front desk experience is a plus, but not required
- Resourceful and able to think critically to resolve guest concerns and operational situations without frequent supervision
- Familiarity with computer systems and able to learn systems in an effective and accurate manner
