Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. The Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and general motel operations. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and comfortable working independently. Responsibilities Greet guests and provide exceptional customer service Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and inquiries Handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily reporting Respond to guest concerns and resolve issues professionally Maintain accurate guest records in the property management system Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding guest needs Monitor property activity and ensure guest safety and security Keep the front desk and lobby areas clean and organized Assist with light administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Previous hospitality, hotel, motel, retail, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills and ability to learn reservation software Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed High school diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally Ability to walk the property when necessary What We Offer Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Opportunity for growth within the company Supportive and team-oriented work environment
