Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team for the overnight shift. This position combines traditional front desk responsibilities with night audit duties to ensure guests receive exceptional service while maintaining accurate daily hotel operations. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently overnight. Previous hotel experience is helpful but not required—we are willing to train the right person. Primary Responsibilities Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Check guests in and out efficiently while ensuring accuracy. Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries in a timely manner. Make and modify reservations while identifying opportunities to enhance the guest experience. Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately. Assist guests with questions, requests, concerns, and problem resolution. Recognize returning guests and provide personalized service whenever possible. Complete overnight audit procedures and maintain accurate records. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest needs are addressed promptly. Log guest requests, maintenance issues, and service concerns using the property's management systems. Assist with folding and organizing hotel laundry as business levels permit. Stock and organize the hotel's retail market and monitor inventory levels. Maintain an organized, clean, and professional front desk and lobby. Follow all hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall hotel operations. Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Comfortable working overnight shifts independently. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Hospitality or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
