Job Title:
Front Desk Agent Job Summary The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by managing guest interactions, handling reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming environment and addressing guest needs throughout their stay. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, computer literacy, and office experience to deliver efficient and friendly service. Duties Greet guests upon arrival and assist with the check-in and check-out process efficiently. Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software. Provide guests with information about room features, rates, amenities, and local attractions. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience. Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions using computer systems. Communicate effectively via phone to answer inquiries, confirm reservations, and provide assistance. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are resolved swiftly. Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and welcoming at all times. Skills Excellent verbal communication skills for engaging with guests over the phone and in person. Strong computer literacy with proficiency in office applications and hotel management software. Previous office or customer service experience is preferred to handle administrative tasks efficiently. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Attention to detail in managing reservations, guest information, and billing processes. Friendly demeanor with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. Problem-solving skills to address guest concerns effectively. This position offers an engaging work environment where interpersonal skills and professionalism are valued. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring guests have a memorable stay through attentive service and efficient operations.
Pay:
$12.00 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
