Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and personable Guest Services Representative to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle guest inquiries efficiently. Guest Services plays a vital role in enhancing guest satisfaction and maintaining the smooth operation of the front desk. This position will primarily be 3p-11p, but must be willing to work as needed. Weekends and holidays are required! Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally. Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively. Manage phone calls with professionalism, providing information and assistance as needed. Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance & management teams to ensure guest satisfaction. Process reservations and cancellations through the hotel management system. Uphold high standards of guest relations by creating a positive experience for all visitors. Provide assistance with laundry and cleaning common areas as needed. This is not an exhaustive list, there are multiple other duties during a typical shift. Qualifications Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective guest interactions. Familiarity with property management software is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays is required. A commitment to providing excellent guest services and building rapport with guests. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and inquiries. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
