Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Lobby Attendant, where you will be the welcoming face that sets the tone for an exceptional guest experience. In this energetic role, you will ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the lobby area, creating a positive first impression for all visitors. Your proactive approach to maintenance and customer service will help foster a warm and inviting environment that guests will remember. Responsibilities Maintain a spotless and organized lobby by performing cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Conduct floor care activities such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to ensure safe and attractive walkways. Monitor the lobby area regularly to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and promptly address them or escalate as necessary. Provide friendly assistance to guests by answering questions, offering directions, and supporting their overall experience with professionalism and enthusiasm. Assist with light custodial tasks related to hotel or facility cleanliness, including restroom sanitation and replenishing supplies. Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or guest concerns efficiently to ensure swift resolution. Uphold health and safety standards through proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment while adhering to industry best practices. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments; hotel experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques such as mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and custodial procedures. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate loads, and walking throughout the shift. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest interactions. Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial roles is a plus but not required.
