Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, where you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for our guests. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar hotel management software Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person, providing accurate information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions with excellent phone etiquette and customer service problem-solving skills Manage reservations through hospitality reservation systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness while accommodating special requests when possible Maintain guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, resolving issues effectively, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and the property remains safe and welcoming Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety during unforeseen incidents or emergencies Assist with night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions, ensuring financial accuracy and reporting compliance Experience Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is highly preferred Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a significant advantage for serving diverse guests effectively Proven customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem-solving in hospitality environments Experience working in resort settings or hotels with extensive guest services enhances your ability to excel in this role Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures ensures preparedness for any situation requiring immediate action Strong communication skills via phone and face-to-face interactions are essential for success in this position This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality career while delivering outstanding guest experiences.
