FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE - THE PRIORY HOTEL ABOUT THE PRIORY HOTEL A
former Benedictine monastery, The Priory Hotel is a 42-room, family owned and operated, boutique hotel located in the historic Deutschtown section of Pittsburgh's North Side - conveniently located walking-distance from downtown Pittsburgh, PNC Park, the Andy Warhol Museum, and Acrisure Stadium.

Part-Time, Including Required Weekends Hours:
16-32 per week; 8
Hour Shifts Potential Shifts:
Sunday and Monday 3pm-11pm; Saturday and Sunday 7am-3pm
Salary:
$17 - $20 per hour, depending upon experience
Benefits:
Paid Time Off New employees begin to accrue two weeks of paid time off immediately, which in Year 1 partially vests after 90 days and fully vests after 6 months from the date of hire. PTO may be cashed out twice a year if not used. PTO maxes out at five weeks after the completion of five years of service.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS
Previous professional experience in the luxury hotel industry is preferred, but not required. Candidates must have a clean criminal record; in order to be hired, candidates must submit to and pass a criminal background check. Computer skills, including basic Microsoft Office and the ability to learn / use property management software, are essential.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Front Desk Associate serves as the first point of contact for most Priory Hotel guests. We are seeking friendly, solution-oriented, exemplary communicators who are dependable and possess strong attention to detail skills. We care deeply about our guests and are looking to hire individuals who will provide exceptional service and a seamless guest experience. Daily Duties Greeting guests warmly and professionally, focusing on a positive and seamless guest experience. Assisting with in-person and telephone inquiries and reservations, guest check-in and check-out. Responding to and resolving guest concerns in a polite, timely manner. Interacting with event guests and hotel overnight guests in-person and through e-mail, as well as entering reservations from electronic channels. Procuring items needed for guest rooms. Remaining consistently up to date with hotel events and functions in order to better answer questions and serve guests. Adhering to all policies laid out within the Priory Hospitality Group Employee Handbook. Completing all tasks assigned by manager or owners with an emphasis on quality and timeliness.
