Job Description
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest services at our resort.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere
- Check guests in and out of the resort, providing information on amenities and services
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize knowledge of the resort to recommend activities, dining options, and local attractions
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Participate in night audit, ensuring all guest accounts are up to date and accurate
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of hotel management policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, using excellent phone etiquette
- Offer support to other departments as needed
- Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring that every guest feels valued and respected
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to speak multiple languages, including English (bilingual or multilingual a plus)
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and software
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
