Job Description

Our Front Desk Agents are the first point of contact for guests, providing outstanding service, offering support to our guests, guiding them through our many activities and amenities, and they ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process. Our agents possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a love of customer service, and the ability to handle guest inquiries and concerns with grace and efficiency.
What you will be doing:
Guest Check-In and Check-Out:
Greet guests warmly and perform the check-in process efficiently. Verify guest information, assign rooms, and issue room keys. Process check-out procedures, including settling accounts and providing receipts.Guest Services:
Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously. Assist with reservations, changes, and cancellations. Schedule activities and arrange for amenities.Communication:
Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments. Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs. Relay messages and information to guests and staff accurately.Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional manner. Escalate issues to the Front Office Manager when necessary. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions. Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment securely. Balance the cash drawer and complete shift reports.Safety and Security:
Adhere to safety and security procedures to ensure well-being of guests and staff. Monitor the lobby and report any suspicious activity. Follow emergency protocols when necessary.Rate of Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00/hour What you bring: Prior hotel front desk experience, luxury resort experience preferred. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and follow up. High-level customer service; Able to handle guest inquiries and concerns with grace and efficiency. Capacity to learn and navigate reservation software. Able to work both independently and as a team. Weekend availability is requiredEducation and Experience:
High School diploma or GED. Prior hotel experience required.Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for the duration of the shift. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Work environment is indoors with occasional travel to lodging locations when needed.Job Types:
