In this lively role, you will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional guest services, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills while working in a vibrant resort or hotel setting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and efficient check-in experience Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and friendliness, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and multi-line phone system skills Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using hotel management software Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest satisfaction Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure guest relations are maintained at the highest level Conduct night audits as needed, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests swiftly and efficiently Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment is preferred Strong customer service skills with a passion for guest relations and hospitality excellence Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to assist diverse guests effectively Familiarity with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems enhances efficiency in daily operations Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel operations is a plus Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and poise Experience in guest services roles that involve multitasking, problem-solving, and maintaining a positive attitude Embark on a rewarding career where your energy fuels unforgettable guest experiences!
