Hotel Front Desk Attendant

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest's stay, which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties in a manner that reflects our hotel's vision, mission, and core values.

Compensation:

$14+ hourly depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift Take reservations over the telephone, through emails and in person, including groups Contact housekeeping and/or maintenance departments when a problem is reported and perform basic maintenance so as to minimize out of order rooms Greet guests and patrons to find out their room needs as well as the reason for their visit and manage the registration process Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, dining, and travel directions.

Qualifications:

Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required.
