This job is full-time working various shifts. From $16 per hour. Benefits include Health Insurance, Retirement Plan with up to 3% employer match. POSITION SUMMARY
This position is based on the Front Desk and the right candidate must be willing to work both AM shifts (7 am to 3 pm) and PM shifts (3 pm to 11 pm) as well as be willing to cross train on night audit (11 pm to 7 am) to help cover that shift if needed. The Front Desk Associate is responsible for ensuring we provide the highest level of guest service and that our standards are met and maintained at all times. Able to multitask and handle guest requests and complaints. The purpose of this position is to interact with the hotel guests and ensure they have a great experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner Perform accurate check-ins and check-outs of guests as per standards Answer the phone within three rings and in a professional manner Make reservations over the phone and in person Run daily reports as identified on the checklist and others as needed Respond to guest requests in a professional and timely manner Provide guidance to guests on local activities, dining options and general area information Treat all guests and colleagues with kindness and respect Participate in meetings and team huddles as required Perform Other duties as and when assigned by hotel management.
PREREQUISITES
Must be able to communicate in English; writing and speaking. Other languages are advantages. Good personality and positive interpersonal skills required. Must have good computer skills. Food Handlers Card and TABC certification required within first month of employment.
