Full-Time Position Description Join Our Team as a Mailroom Coordinator! Are you organized, dependable, and detail-oriented? We're looking for a Mailroom Coordinator to keep our mailroom operations running smoothly and ensure mail, packages, and important correspondence are processed accurately and securely for our employees and individuals served!
What You'll Do:
Sort, distribute, inspect, and process incoming and outgoing mail and publications Pick up mail daily from the local post office Receive, inventory, log, and securely store mail and packages for individuals served Maintain accurate logs of legal and special mail Distribute legal mail to individuals served and obtain required signatures Operate postage meters, computers, copiers, and other mailroom equipment Follow U.S. postal procedures along with company, client, and site policies Maintain accurate records and ensure confidential and sensitive correspondence is handled appropriately
What We're Looking For:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Experience:
1+ year of experience in a mailroom, warehouse, stockroom, shipping/receiving, or similar environment (preferred). Working knowledge of U.S. postal procedures (preferred).
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid driver's license with a verifiable favorable driving record (required).
