Overview Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable guest experiences from the moment they arrive. In this lively role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes. Your energetic approach will help foster a welcoming atmosphere, making every guest feel valued and cared for throughout their stay. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills while working in a vibrant hotel environment. Duties Greet guests warmly and efficiently handle check-in and check-out procedures using property management systems such as Fosse or similar platforms Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications via hospitality reservation systems with accuracy and attention to detail Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and offering local recommendations to enhance their stay Operate multi-line phone systems with professionalism, maintaining excellent phone etiquette while assisting callers with inquiries or reservations Maintain guest records and update property management systems (PMS) accurately to ensure seamless operations Enforce hotel policies and emergency procedures to ensure guest safety and comfort at all times Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to address guest needs swiftly and efficiently Skills Strong background in hospitality management and customer service problem-solving techniques Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests from around the world Proficiency with hotel management software such as OPERA or similar property management systems (PMS) Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and client interaction expertise Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices Experience with night audit procedures is a plus for handling end-of-day financial reconciliations Ability to work in fast-paced environments, multitask efficiently, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive on delivering exceptional guest experiences. Pay:
$15.50 - $16.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
