Candidate must be flexible with their availability. Weekend and holidays are a must to be eligible for this position.
Job Overview:
Front Desk Agents have the most contact with our guests. They make the first impression upon our guests by extending a warm welcome, providing information about the hotel and local area, and offering our full range of upscale hotel amenities and services to them. Associates are also responsible for listening to guest inquiries and provide appropriate responses Setting up accurate accounts for each guest checking in according to their preferences Block rooms in the computer and follow through on designated requirements Documenting all guest complaints or problems immediately and notifying designated department/personnel for resolving the situation. Always making sure to follow up Any other job duties that will be given as needed
Requirements & Qualifications:
Require a minimum of High School diploma or equivalent, plus one year hotel front desk/guest service experience. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up Excellent time management skills Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems Ability to work well under pressure, dealing with many arrivals and departures within a short period of time Ability to stand for long period of time
