Guest Experience & Activities Lead Cedar Cove Ranch - Eustace, TX Full-Time | $38,000-$45,000 per year Lead Experiences Guests Will Remember Cedar Cove Ranch is seeking an energetic, confident, and personable Guest Experience & Activities Lead to lead outdoor experiences, corporate team-building activities, shooting sports, fishing, and recreation for our guests. This is not a traditional front-desk hospitality position or simply an activity attendant. We are looking for someone who can take command of a group, create energy, communicate clearly, and safely lead memorable experiences. One day you may be leading a corporate team through a Marksman Challenge. The next, you could be guiding guests on the lake, running 5-Stand, leading a wildlife safari, or hosting activities for a family staying at the ranch. Our guests include corporate leadership teams, client-appreciation groups, families, couples, hunters, and private events. What You'll Do Corporate Retreats & Team Building Lead corporate team-building activities, challenges, and competitions Facilitate groups ranging from small executive teams to larger corporate events Organize teams, activity rotations, scoring, and competition formats Clearly explain activities, rules, and safety procedures Create an engaging atmosphere and encourage teamwork and friendly competition Work with our Guest Services team to execute customized retreat itineraries Confidently interact with executives, business owners, and corporate leadership teams Shooting Sports Lead or assist with 5-Stand clay shooting Facilitate pistol and rifle range experiences Lead 3-Gun experiences and Marksman Challenges Run individual and team shooting competitions Conduct firearm and range safety briefings Prepare ranges, firearms, targets, and equipment Maintain strict safety standards throughout all shooting activities Fishing & Outdoor Activities Guide or assist with bass fishing experiences Lead fishing competitions and team challenges Operate Jon boats and assist with lake activities Lead UTV wildlife safari tours Facilitate axe throwing and archery Lead guided hikes and night hikes Coordinate kayaking, canoeing, and other recreational activities Host firepit experiences, outdoor games, and seasonal activities Guest Experience Welcome guests and help them navigate their daily itinerary Build relationships with guests throughout their stay Anticipate guest needs and help personalize their experience Coordinate with Guest Services, Hunting Operations, Culinary, and other ranch departments Prepare activity areas and equipment before guests arrive Transport guests around the ranch when needed Adapt activities when schedules, weather, or guest needs change Assist with other guest-service responsibilities when activities are not scheduled Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who naturally takes ownership, enjoys being around people, and is comfortable leading a group.

The ideal candidate:

Is outgoing, confident, personable, and professional Is comfortable speaking and presenting in front of groups Can confidently lead corporate groups and executives Has strong knowledge of firearm safety and shooting sports Has fishing and general outdoor experience Can create excitement while maintaining control and safety Is comfortable operating UTVs and ranch vehicles Is organized, dependable, and able to manage changing schedules Can think on their feet and solve problems Enjoys working outdoors Is physically capable of setting up and moving recreational equipment Is available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays based on guest schedules Experience in corporate team building, shooting sports, fishing, outdoor recreation, guiding, hospitality, resorts, ranches, military, law enforcement, coaching, camps, or similar guest-facing leadership roles is preferred. Safety - Because this position involves firearms, vehicles, water activities, and outdoor recreation, safety is a critical responsibility. The Guest Experience & Activities Lead must be comfortable enforcing rules, conducting safety briefings, recognizing unsafe behavior, and maintaining control of groups while still creating an enjoyable experience.
