About Us Lake Shore RV Resort is a welcoming, guest-focused destination where we pride ourselves on creating memorable stays. We're looking for a friendly, organized, and service-driven Front Desk Guest Services Agent to be the first point of contact for our guests and help deliver an exceptional experience from arrival to departure. Position Overview As a Front Desk Guest Services Agent, you will manage reservations, assist guests with check-in and check-out, and provide information about our resort, amenities, and local attractions. In addition to desk responsibilities, you will be out on the property assisting guests, performing site checks, and helping ensure the resort is running smoothly. Your role is key in ensuring every guest has a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable stay. Key Responsibilities Manage online and phone reservations Perform all check-in and check-out procedures Welcome guests upon arrival and escort them to their site or rental unit Conduct site checks around the resort using the golf cart to monitor availability, and adherence to resort rules Provide information about resort amenities, rates, and local attractions Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure readiness of sites and units Confirm and organize group reservations based on guest preferences Accurately calculate and manage charges, prorated billing, and account adjustments for extended stay guests Process payments and verify credit card information Maintain accurate and detailed records of bookings, payments, and guest account notes Ensure accuracy in all guest transactions and account details What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role preferred Experience with reservation software (RMS or similar) is a plus Exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude Strong attention to detail, especially when handling reservations, billing, and guest accounts Excellent communication and organizational abilities Team player with a willingness to jump in where needed Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus What It Takes to Succeed in This Role This role requires emotional resilience and a positive mindset. We're looking for someone who can handle challenging guest interactions with grace, not take things personally, and maintain a cheerful attitude under pressure. There is a learning curve to this position, so the right person is coachable, committed to learning, and able to give themselves grace while growing into the role. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) 2+ years of front desk, hotel, or leasing agent experience (preferred) Valid driver's license Must pass criminal background check, drug screening, and reference verification Schedule & Pay Full-time (approximately 36 hours per week) Day shift
Pay:
$15.00 per hour Work location: In person A 60-day performance review will be conducted to evaluate progress, provide feedback, and identify areas for growth. Compensation will be reviewed at that time based on performance.
