) 2409 Texmati Drive, Katy, TX 77494 Full-time Full-time Front Desk Agent (Morning Shift) - Hilton Garden Inn Katy The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while creating a welcoming and professional first impression for every guest. The Morning Front Desk Agent plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth transition from overnight operations, assisting guests with check-outs, arrivals, reservations, and guest requests while maintaining Hilton brand standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner. Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately. Verify guest information, payment methods, and room assignments. Answer incoming phone calls and assist with reservations, inquiries, and guest requests. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, dining, and transportation. Respond promptly to guest concerns and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction. Review and balance guest accounts, folios, and billing information. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met. Monitor room availability and communicate room status updates. Assist guests with Hilton Honors enrollment and explain member benefits. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records. Prepare and distribute reports as required by management. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area. Assist with breakfast guest inquiries and provide support to other hotel departments as needed. Follow all Hilton policies, procedures, and brand standards. Ensure guest confidentiality and security procedures are followed at all times.
Qualifications:
Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred. Experience with Hilton systems (OnQ, PEP, or related platforms) is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and hotel management systems. Reliable attendance and punctuality. The Front Desk Agent is often the first and last point of contact for our guests. This position is essential to creating memorable guest experiences and ensuring every guest receives the warm hospitality and service excellence expected at Hilton Garden Inn Katy.
