We are hiring experienced Front Desk Agents ONLY —specifically those who have worked for a Choice Hotels franchise and are already proficient with Choice

Experience - must be fully trained and able to operate independently Choice Hotels Franchise Background - must have worked for a Choice-branded property (Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, Sleep Inn, Clarion, Econo Lodge, etc.) Minimum 1 year hotel front desk experience Fluent in English (verbal & written) We are searching for the best and brightest in the customer service industry to fill our Front Desk Agent Role. We are looking for the best and the brightest candidates that would understand that in hospitality industry the first encounter and their interaction with the guests can set the tone for the entire guest experience and will potentially impact the entire brand. Your genuine warmth and helpful nature enable you to rise to every occasion, from cheerfully greeting the excited family on a vacation adventure to handling the travel-weary guest's request with prompt courtesy. This would reassure the guests that they've made the right choice to stay with us As a Front Desk Agent, you'll have many opportunities to brighten someone's day. Ideal position for students, as you are allowed to bring in your schoolwork

Duties & Responsibilities:
Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner. Check guests in, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location. Ensure required identification is taken from guests at check-in in line with local legislative requirements. Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner. Up-sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns Record guest preferences in the system. Check guests out, including resolving any late or disputed charges. Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions using established procedures. Maintaining a healthy, positive & progressive work environment. Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up. Take action to solve guest problems/complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines. Always follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures. Immediately report any health and safety incident, concerns or suspicious behavior to the Management. Perform other duties as assigned which may include but is not limited to the following: helping coworkers in other areas of the hotel, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and overall cleanliness and safety throughout the hotel and grounds.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent required; college course work in related field helpful. Experience in a hotel or a related field a PLUS. Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal An operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Willing and able to stand for long periods of time Able to work with little or no supervision Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve. Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations. Must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
