Overview We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent / Float to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring their needs are met throughout their stay. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for the hospitality industry, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as effective communication with our diverse clientele is key. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly, providing exceptional guest services.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
- Process reservations and cancellations through the hotel management system.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and balanced.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence related to guest services.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Qualifications
- 1 year previous experience in front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for effective communication with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with guests positively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Proficient in using computer systems related to hotel operations; familiarity with night audit processes is beneficial.
