Key Responsibilities

Guest Services:

Greet guests warmly, handle check-ins and check-outs, issue room keys, and assign specific rooms.

Reservations & Communication:

Answer phone calls and manage online bookings, cancellations, and special requests.

Financial Transactions:

Process credit cards, handle cash, compute bills, and balance shift records.

Problem Solving:

Listen to guest complaints and resolve issues quickly and politely.

Department Coordination:

Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to confirm ready rooms and handle special needs.

Local Knowledge:

Provide information on hotel amenities, local dining, and area attractions.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Technical Skills:

Basic computer literacy and familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS).

Soft Skills:

Friendly attitude, clear verbal communication, patience, and multitasking ability.

Physical Needs:

Ability to stand for long periods and handle light lifting.
