The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for our guests and plays an important role in providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming hotel experience. The ideal candidate is personable, responsible, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome and greet guests in a warm and professional manner. Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately. Handle reservations, room assignments, cancellations, and guest requests. Answer phone calls and respond to guest questions and inquiries. Process payments, deposits, and other front-desk transactions. Maintain accurate guest information and hotel records. Address guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptly. Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room status and guest needs. Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area. Provide information about hotel amenities, local restaurants, shopping, transportation, and nearby attractions. Assist with other front-office and hotel duties as needed. Ensure guests receive a positive experience from arrival through departure. Qualifications Previous hotel or customer-service experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, professional, and positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel management software. Ability to handle cash and credit-card transactions accurately. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to remain calm and professional when handling difficult guest situations. Must be dependable and punctual.
