In this vibrant role, you'll be the welcoming face of our hotel, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining efficient front desk operations. Your ability to communicate effectively, solve problems proactively, and manage multiple tasks with energy will be key to delivering outstanding hospitality. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hotel management and guest relations in a lively, fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person, offering accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions Coordinate reservations and room assignments through hospitality reservation systems while ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction Address guest concerns promptly by applying customer service problem-solving skills and hotel emergency procedures when necessary Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, reservations, and billing using property management systems (PMS) Support night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions and ensure financial accuracy Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues swiftly Uphold phone etiquette standards while managing multiple communication channels with professionalism and enthusiasm Foster positive guest relations by providing personalized service that exceeds expectations in a resort or hotel setting Qualifications Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations preferred; hospitality experience is highly valued Proficiency with hospitality management software such as OPERA or property management systems (PMS) is a plus Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse guests effectively Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and problem-solving capabilities Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest security at all times Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and proper phone etiquette Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Resort experience or familiarity with hospitality reservation systems enhances suitability for this role This position is paid and offers an engaging environment where your hospitality talents can shine.
