Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated onsite Guest Service Agent to join our team at a breathtaking boutique resort nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by assisting with front-of-house tasks while also using your eye for details to keep our rooms and event space in top condition. Key Responsibilities:
Hotel Operations:
Respond to guest inquiries and concerns, ensuring all needs are met promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times. Manage reservations, room assignments, and special requests to ensure a seamless guest experience. Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to maintain a smooth workflow and guest satisfaction. Ensure the cleanliness rooms, common areas, and other public spaces. Support the Area Sales Director with site tours as well as event execution and vendor coordination during group bookings and special events. Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public spaces, and other facilities to identify cleaning or maintenance needs. Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repairs when necessary.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional hospitality, communications or technical degrees or certifications are a plus. Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or customer service environment is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members effectively. Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and have a positive attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Skills:
Previous hotel operations or front desk experience. Basic knowledge of hotel management software and systems like Cloudbeds or Opera. Catering and event coordinating experience.
Job Type:
Part-Time (up to 32 hours/week)
Pay Range:
$20.00 to $25.00/hour
