We are looking for a Front Desk Associate who is warm, polished, professional, and genuinely enjoys taking care of people. If you have strong people skills, customer service experience or training, good manners, and the ability to make someone feel welcome, we would love to meet you. You don't have to know everything about hotels. We can teach you the systems and procedures. What we're looking for is someone who already understands the importance of kindness, patience, professionalism, and treating people with respect. What You'll Do As a member of our Front Desk team, you will be one of the important faces of The George Washington. You'll welcome guests, answer questions, solve problems, and help make their stay as enjoyable as possible.

Your responsibilities will include:

Warmly welcoming every guest with a genuine smile and professional demeanor. Checking guests in and out and ensuring their information and billing are accurate. Answering questions about the hotel, our restaurants and amenities, and the Winchester area. Providing recommendations and directions to local restaurants, attractions, shopping, and entertainment. Answering phones and responding to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner. Handling payments, room charges, cash, and credit card transactions accurately. Listening carefully to guest concerns and doing everything within your ability to help resolve them. Remaining calm, patient, and professional when things don't go according to plan. Working closely with housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, and management to make sure our guests' needs are met. Protecting guest privacy and following all safety, security, and company procedures. Helping create the kind of experience that makes guests want to come back. Requirements Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Hotel experience is preferred but not required. Customer service experience or training is a plus. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn our hotel operating system. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to stand and move throughout the front desk area for extended periods. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. The George Washington Hotel operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Scheduling and hours may vary based on operational needs.
