Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional check-in experience. Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with excellent phone etiquette and customer service problem-solving skills. Manage reservations using hospitality reservation systems such as Jonas or other property management systems (PMS), ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Assist guests with room assignments, special requests, and providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions. Maintain knowledge of hotel emergency procedures to respond swiftly and appropriately to any incidents or safety concerns. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly. Maintain accuracy of guest folios and transactions. Light cleaning to ensure workspace and guest common areas are organized and presentable. Skills Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment; Best Western experience preferred. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as Jonas or similar platforms for reservations and guest data management. Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude. Knowledge of hotel management practices, including guest relations, front desk procedures, and hotel emergency protocols. Excellent communication skills via phone and in person, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times. Experience with night audit processes and resort operations is preferred for comprehensive understanding of hotel functions. Ability to work independently as well in a team setting.
