Job Description

We are seeking a conscientious Hotel Front Desk Agent who has a passion and desire to provide superior guest service, and an equally strong passion to serve alongside an amazing team of employees. As a member of our Front Desk Team, you will have the opportunity to make the first point of contact with our guests and manage all aspects of their accommodations. Our ideal front desk agent always has a smile on their face. In addition to having a friendly disposition, they have a keen eye for detail and are gifted in both organizational skills and multi-tasking. The front desk agent interacts with our visitors. They provide necessary information to our guests that will add quality to their stay and keep them coming back. If you enjoy smiling around, talking to, and helping people, then this could be a great fit for you. Prior work as a front desk agent is not mandatory but we do prefer individuals who have had experience with customer service related jobs.
Job Duties:
  • Maintains an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of the reservation department. Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary. Knows cancellation procedure.
  • Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
  • Registers arriving guests and assigns rooms.
  • Coordinates guest room maintenance work with the maintenance department.
  • Manages and resolves all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Processes guest check-outs and handles monetary transactions.
  • Maintains customers' privacy.
  • Maintains lobby food and beverage programs as required and needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned (Some laundry duties are included with this job).
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor toward our guests and fellow employees at all times.
Pay Range :
$17.13 - $18.50 Per hour
Description of Benefits :
Retirement matching Paid vacation time. Paid sick leave. Holiday pay (time-and-a-half). Front Desk Incentive Bonuses ranging from $0 - $400 per month.
