Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Front Desk Staff member to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, provide exceptional customer service, and support office management functions. Your positive attitude, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently will ensure a smooth and professional environment for visitors, clients, and team members alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative skills while contributing to a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities Guest Services:
Greet guests, verify identification, manage the check-in and check-out process, and issue room keys.
Reservations:
Handle incoming booking requests and modifications via phone, email, or online systems.
Account Management:
Process payments, authorize credit cards, and post incidental charges (like parking or dining) to guest folios.
Department Coordination:
Communicate continuously with housekeeping regarding room statuses, and with maintenance regarding any room issues.
Local Concierge:
Provide information on local dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
Issue Resolution:
Actively listen to guest complaints and provide prompt, professional resolutions.
Requirements & Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Previous hospitality, customer service, or cash-handling experience.
Skills:
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
System Knowledge:
Familiarity with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
Pay:
From $17.13 per hour
