This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Essence Hotel Management Group . The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc. Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor TownePlace Suites by Marriott — Opening Soon Be Part of Our Opening Team! We are excited to open a brand-new TownePlace Suites by Marriot t and are looking for friendly, dependable, and guest-focused team members to join our Front Office team. We are hiring for both Front Desk Agent and Night Auditor positions. While the primary responsibilities are similar, the Night Auditor position includes additional overnight accounting and audit responsibilities. As a member of our opening team, you'll have the opportunity to help establish the service culture and standards of our new hotel from day one.What You'll Do:
- Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately.
- Assist guests with reservations, room assignments, directions, and general requests.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries.
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts.
- Handle guest questions, concerns, and service recovery professionally.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, restaurants, and services.
- Maintain accurate guest and hotel records.
- Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other hotel departments.
- Monitor the lobby and front desk area to ensure it remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Protect guest privacy and confidential information.
- Follow Marriott brand standards, hotel policies, and operating procedures.
- Maintain a professional and secure front desk environment.
- Assist with other hotel duties as needed.
Night Audit responsibilities include:
- Complete the nightly audit and accounting procedures accurately.
- Balance daily hotel transactions and verify financial records.
- Review guest accounts, payments, room charges, and reservations for accuracy.
- Prepare daily financial and operational reports.
- Reconcile discrepancies and communicate issues to management.
- Complete required end-of-day procedures in the hotel's property-management system.
- Monitor the hotel and assist overnight guests with requests and emergencies.
- Communicate important overnight information and outstanding issues to the morning team.
- Assist with morning breakfast setup as needed.
- Perform light overnight hotel duties to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
- Follow all cash-handling, security, safety, and overnight operating procedures. What We're Looking For

- Previous hotel or customer-service experience is preferred but not required.
- Night Auditors must be comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
