As the first point of contact for our guests, this role is essential in creating a welcoming and memorable experience from arrival to departure. This role plays a key part in creating positive first impressions, ensuring smooth arrivals and departures, and supporting an outstanding overall guest experience. Key Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently Manage room reservations, modifications, and cancellations Answer phone calls using proper telephone etiquette and Marriott brand standards Respond promptly to guest requests, questions, and concerns Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance to support guest needs Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area Promote Marriott Bonvoy membership and hotel amenities Assist with guest service recovery and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner Follow all hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures Support additional duties as assigned by hotel leadership Qualifications Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred Marriott experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Comfortable using computers and hotel operating systems Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required What We're Looking For A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service A team player with a positive, can-do attitude Someone who is dependable, organized, and solution-oriented A professional who takes pride in creating great first impressions A team member who is confident, friendly, and eager to learn
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
