Reports To:
General Manager About the Role We are seeking a professional and service-driven Front Desk Associate to join the opening team of a new 40-room luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of the New River Gorge National Park. This role is the face of the hotel and plays a critical part in creating a warm, seamless, and memorable guest experience from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, personable, and energized by working with a diverse guest population drawn to adventure, nature, and refined hospitality. Key Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and manage check-in check-out procedures Handle reservations, room assignments, billing, and payments accurately Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquires and requests Resolve guest concerns with discretion, creativity, and care Communicate effectively with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure room readiness Maintain accurate records, shift reports, and cash handling procedures Uphold hotel service standards, policies, and brand presentation Qualifications & Experience Prior front desk, hotel, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable using computers and reservation systems (PMS experience a plus) Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and professionalism Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays What We're Looking For A hospitality-first mindset with genuine enthusiasm for guest service Reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude Confidence interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds Interest in being a part of a collaborative opening hotel team What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunity to be part of a hotel opening shape the guest experience Supportive team environment with leadership development opportunities Work in one of the most scenic destinations in the country Ready to be a part of something special?
