Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Resort General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee the daily operations of our resort, including our bar and restaurant. This pivotal role demands a passionate leader who can drive excellence in guest services, manage hotel operations efficiently, and foster a welcoming environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to motivate staff to deliver memorable guest experiences. As the Resort General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service delivery Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, foster positive guest relations, and uphold the hotel's reputation Oversee revenue management practices to optimize occupancy rates and profitability through pricing strategies and promotional initiatives Oversee the hotel bar and restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of quality. Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated and professional team Ensure compliance with safety standards, hotel policies, local regulations, and industry best practices Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and promptness to ensure a positive experience Oversee night audit procedures, front desk operations including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette, as well as guest check-in/out processes Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote the hotel's offerings and attract new guests Qualifications Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising responsibilities Strong background in hospitality management principles including revenue management, budgeting, human resources, and guest services Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences Knowledge of hotel operations such as front desk management, night audit procedures, resort services, and guest relations Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and hospitality technology platforms Previous experience working in a resort setting is preferred but not required Join us in shaping unforgettable experiences for our guests while leading a vibrant team dedicated to excellence. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
