This role includes supervising staff, coordinating work orders, overseeing preventive maintenance, and supporting renovation and improvement projects.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead maintenance and houseman staff, including scheduling and daily task assignments Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes Clean the property, help out the housekeeping department. Empty the trash cans, and pick up the dirty linens. Oversee preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms and public areas Coordinate and prioritize work orders with front-of-house and department liaisons Support and oversee renovation, refurbishment, and property improvement projects Set up and support meeting and event spaces as required Monitor and manage maintenance supplies, tools, equipment, and vendor services Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Ensure all maintenance operations are performed to high quality and service standards Perform other related duties as assignedRequirements:
2-3 years of hotel or property maintenance experience preferred Prior supervisory experience preferred Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly with or without reasonable accommodation. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems Experience supporting renovation or remodeling projects Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and lead a team Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as necessary Professional appearance and strong customer service skills Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat and coldJob Type:
