Job Descriptions:
We are looking to hire a full-time, live-on-site Community Manager who will manage two apartment complexes located in Santa Clara, CA, for a combined total of 85-units. These properties are pet free/smoke free communities. You will also manage five single-family homes along with the 85 units. The work schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday, approximately 8 hours per day. Community Manager must carry a cell phone at all times and be able to respond to leasing and emergency calls. The manager will reside at the property that has 51 residential units. The manager's unit is a studio apartment. The second complex is down the street and has a total of 34 units. Essential job functions include, but are not limited to: Leasing -respond to rental leads promptly, answer prospective resident calls, conduct property tours, screen applicants, complete all necessary paperwork, and complete the move-in process. Work on capital projects that are happening at the property Accurately prepare and complete leasing and administrative paperwork All information should be entered in Yardi Voyager system on a real-time basis Maintain thorough knowledge of the property and competition properties Place ads on Craigslist and use other marketing tools as directed Maintain prospect traffic, leasing data, and other computer data entry in Yardi Maintain superb relationships with all residents and vendors Provide excellent customer service to the residents Enforces rules and regulations fairly and equitably with all residents Return missed calls and e-mails promptly Write approved letters and memos as needed Process rental payments and monitor accounts Prepare Move-out accounting Order supplies and process invoices Schedule turnover work and work orders Complete work order documentation Follow fair housing guidelines at all times
Do You Have:
Three years of prior experience in property management High School diploma or equivalent Must have strong verbal and written English skills Computer literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of Yardi Voyager or other property management software systems is helpful Ability to maintain a professional image and possess great people skills Must have a valid California Driver's license and state-required insurance Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, friendly, and energetic We offer: Free 1-bedroom unit, plus an hourly rate of $25.00 Comprehensive benefits - health, dental & vision, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, tuition reimbursement and more!
