Position Overview The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of hotel operations, including guest satisfaction, revenue performance, team leadership, brand compliance, financial management, sales initiatives, and overall property success. The ideal candidate is a visible leader who is passionate about hospitality, develops high-performing teams, and understands how to balance guest experience with operational excellence and profitability. What You'll Do Lead all hotel operations while maintaining Best Western brand standards Drive guest satisfaction and reputation management initiatives Recruit, train, coach, and develop department leaders and team members Foster a positive and accountable workplace culture Manage hotel financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and labor controls Analyze operational metrics and implement strategies to improve results Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Build strong relationships within the Fort Morgan community and local business market Partner with ownership and company leadership to achieve strategic goals Maintain a highly engaged team focused on service excellence What We're Looking For Previous General Manager experience in a branded hotel environment preferred Strong leadership and team development skills Proven ability to drive revenue, control expenses, and improve profitability Experience with hotel financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting Knowledge of hotel operations, front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and sales functions Experience with property management systems and hotel technology platforms Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead by example and create a culture of accountability and service How You'll Bring Our Core Values to LifeLead with a Hospitality Heart You create exceptional experiences for guests while fostering an environment where employees feel respected, supported, and empowered.
