This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-end hospitality environment, leads with warmth and confidence, and understands that first impressions set the tone for the entire guest experience. Position Overview The Guest Relations Manager oversees the reservations system and front-of-house greeting team, ensuring seamless service, efficient table management, and exceptional guest experiences from the moment the phone rings to the final farewell. Key Responsibilities Manage all restaurant reservations using RESY (or similar system), including VIPs, large parties, and special requests Lead, train, and schedule host/hostess staff Greet guests with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail Maintain accurate wait times and ensure smooth table turns Coordinate closely with management, service staff, and the kitchen to optimize seating flow Handle guest inquiries, special occasions, and concerns with grace and discretion Maintain reservation notes, guest preferences, and floor plans Uphold Daniel's brand standards for luxury service and hospitality Qualifications 2+ years experience as a manager, lead host/hostess, reservations manager, or similar front-of-house role in an upscale or fine-dining restaurant Strong knowledge of reservation platforms (RESY preferred) Excellent communication and leadership skills Calm, organized, and professional under pressure Polished appearance and confident, welcoming demeanor Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays What We Offer Competitive pay (based on experience) Opportunity to work in a premier Miami steakhouse Supportive leadership and a professional team environment Growth opportunities within a respected hospitality brand If you take pride in hospitality, love creating memorable guest experiences, and excel at leading a front-of-house team, we'd love to meet you.
