Job Description

About Us Ohoopee River RV & Camp Resort is a growing destination campground on the scenic Ohoopee River in Georgia. Our resort features 78 full hookup RV sites, 10 glamping sites, 3 cabins, and 36 tent sites. We are owned and operated by a hands-on investment team committed to building a top-tier guest experience while growing occupancy and profitability year over year. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, operationally sharp General Manager to lead day-to-day resort operations. This is a live-in, full-time, year-round position with a dedicated full hookup RV site provided as part of your compensation package. You will be the operational anchor of this property — responsible for the guest experience, the team, and the numbers. Couples are welcome. We are also actively recruiting for a Maintenance Lead, so if your partner has relevant experience, we encourage you both to apply.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$40,000/year OR $18-$19/hour (commensurate with experience) Dedicated full hookup RV site — your home on the property Full-time, year-round with seasonal peaks Couples welcome; guest spouses/partners also welcome on property Key Responsibilities Oversee all resort operations: guest services, maintenance, housekeeping, and grounds coordination Lead and manage a team of staff across multiple departments Monitor and actively manage key performance metrics: occupancy, revenue, expenses, and payroll Develop and execute budgets; make sound spending decisions within established guidelines Cover front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, phone management, and reservations (Staylist) Lead or coordinate social media and digital marketing efforts to drive awareness and bookings Build and maintain local business partnerships — food vendors, local services, activity providers — to enhance the guest experience and create ancillary revenue streams Collaborate directly with ownership on strategic initiatives to grow occupancy, revenue, and the guest experience What We're Looking For Prior experience managing an RV park, campground, or hospitality property is strongly preferred
Alternatively:
demonstrated experience managing multiple employees with accountability for operational metrics Comfortable working with reservation software (we use Staylist) Strong financial literacy: occupancy tracking, expense management, payroll oversight, and budget management Creative thinker with a hospitality mindset and a drive to grow the property Highly organized, proactive, and able to operate independently while staying aligned with ownership Strong communication and relationship-building skills How to Apply Submit your resume and a brief cover note.
