Overview Step into the dynamic role of Hotel General Manager, where you will lead the overall operations of a vibrant hospitality establishment. Your energetic leadership will ensure exceptional guest experiences, foster a motivated team, and drive the success of the hotel. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the guest journey, optimize revenue, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality management in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in hotel management, customer service, and team supervision will be vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests returning time and again. Responsibilities Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance. Lead and supervise hotel staff, promoting a positive work environment through effective human resources practices and clear communication. Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring memorable guest experiences. Implement revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and profitability while maintaining high service standards. Coordinate front desk activities, including multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and guest check-in/check-out procedures. Oversee budgeting processes, expense control, and financial reporting to meet organizational goals. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards such as night audit procedures and resort operations. Foster a culture of hospitality excellence by training staff on customer service best practices and guest services. Utilize leadership skills to motivate teams, supervise performance evaluations, and support professional development. Maintain high standards of guest services through continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance checks. Requirements Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising experience preferred. Strong background in hospitality management with knowledge of revenue management, budgeting, and human resources practices. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing front desk operations and resort environments. Familiarity with hotel experience systems such as multi-line phone systems and night audit procedures. Exceptional communication skills including phone etiquette and professional interaction with guests and team members. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, safety regulations, and guest services best practices. $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
