Job Description
The Front Desk Manager oversees daily front office operations and leads the Front Desk team to ensure exceptional service and seamless guest interactions. This role is responsible for team leadership, staffing, and operational execution while maintaining a professional, safe, and positive work environment. The Front Desk Manager collaborates closely with other Hospitality leaders, participates in Manager on Duty coverage, and supports overall resort operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee daily Front Desk operations to ensure service, quality, and brand standards are met Supervise, train, and support Front Desk team members; provide coaching, feedback, and development Recruit, hire, and schedule staff to maintain appropriate staffing levels Participate in the Manager on Duty program and provide leadership support across Lodging departments Maintain accurate guest room inventory and support operational efficiency Respond to and resolve guest concerns in a timely and professional manner Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures, policies, and internal controls Coordinate with group leaders and internal teams to support arrivals, departures, and guest needs Assist with department budgeting and monitor performance against established goals Lead and participate in department, leadership, and Front Desk meetings Promote a positive team culture and uphold service and safety standards Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience Perform additional duties as assignedQualifications:
Previous front office or hospitality management experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn property management systems (e.g., OPERA) Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling and financial transactions Flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hand for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
