The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, with a focus on enhancing guest experiences and driving revenue growth. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. The Hotel General Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service while ensuring the hotel operates efficiently and profitably. Responsibilities GM is required to work 45+ hours per week in addition to work weekends and holidays due to high occupancy and business needs. Maintain Guest Service Scores above brand standards Pass all QA and City Inspections Maintain all brand and management standards Learn the hotel's PMS system and work or cover shifts when necessary. Be highly visible to guests and staff. Required to be visible to guests at front desk and breakfast areas during high peak times. Lead and manage all hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance. Develop and implement strategies for revenue management and budgeting to maximize profitability. Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all guests, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly. Oversee human resources functions including hiring, training, and performance management of staff. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development among employees. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations while ensuring the hotel meets quality standards. Manage guest relations to enhance satisfaction and loyalty through personalized services. Conduct daily inspections of the property guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld. Coordinate night audits and ensure accurate financial reporting. Experience Proven experience in hotel management and minimum 4 years GM experience. Supervising experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Strong understanding of revenue management principles and budgeting processes. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and phone etiquette. Experience in human resources practices within the hospitality sector is preferred. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele. Knowledge of hotel operations is an advantage, particularly in guest relations and services.
