Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as an Assistant Hotel General Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the overall management team. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to lead with enthusiasm, foster a welcoming environment, and drive the success of our resort or hotel property. You will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of service, managing staff, and optimizing revenue streams to deliver memorable stays for our guests. Responsibilities Assist the Hotel General Manager in supervising daily hotel operations across departments such as front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services. Support guest relations efforts by ensuring personalized service and resolving issues promptly to maximize guest satisfaction. Oversee front desk activities including multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and check-in/check-out procedures to ensure smooth guest interactions. Contribute to revenue management strategies by monitoring occupancy rates, pricing adjustments, and budget adherence to meet financial goals. Supervise staff performance through training, coaching, and scheduling to foster a motivated and efficient team environment. Manage human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, and maintaining compliance with hospitality standards and policies. Assist with night audit processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation of daily transactions. Skills Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest communication and service delivery. Proven supervising experience within hospitality management or hotel operations. Strong knowledge of hotel management principles including revenue management, budgeting, and guest services. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences. Leadership qualities that inspire teams and promote a positive work environment. Familiarity with hotel management software, multi-line phone systems, and front desk operations. Experience in resort settings or large-scale hotels is a plus; knowledge of night audit procedures is beneficial.
