As a Rooms Manager , you're not just overseeing day-to-day rooms division operations - you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. The Rooms Manager is a key leader within the Rooms Division, overseeing the daily operations of both Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure exceptional guest experiences and high product standards. This role also serves as the Manager on Duty (MOD), overseeing hotel operations in the absence of operational leadership. The position focuses on delivering outstanding service, maintaining quality standards, enforcing company policies, and driving financial performance. Here's what you'll do during a typical day: Oversee front office operations : Manage front desk functions, including check-in/out, guest relations, and conflict resolution Manage housekeeping operations: Oversee daily room assignments, monitor cleaning performance through inspections, and ensure readiness of guest rooms Deliver guest service excellence: Ensure high-quality, consistent guest experiences by upholding brand standards and resolving issues with creativity, discretion, and sound judgment Oversee service operations: Ensure Front Office and Housekeeping systems and procedures support exceptional service, smooth check-in/check-out, and room readiness Manager on
Duty:
Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) in the absence of operational leadership for Rooms Division and Food & Beverage operations.
Inspire and develop the team:
Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment Front Office & Guest Services The Rooms Manager partners with Rooms leadership to oversee Front Office operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure. Responsibilities include managing room inventory, maximizing occupancy, supporting team training and product knowledge, and maintaining efficient staffing and labor controls. Housekeeping & Product Quality The Rooms Manager has a daily working focus on Housekeeping and Laundry operations to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards across guest rooms and public spaces. This role collaborates with Housekeeping leaders to coordinate daily operational priorities, conducts inspections, manages inventories, and partners with Engineering to address maintenance needs and protect product quality. Manager on Duty (MOD) Leadership As Manager on Duty, the Rooms Manager oversees hotel operations in the absence of leadership, ensuring service, safety, and operational standards are maintained. Responsibilities include resolving guest concerns, supporting VIP experiences, assisting operational teams during peak periods, and ensuring bell services operate efficiently.
