Job Description

Job Title:
Hotel Attendent Job Summary:
The Hotel oversees all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring that guests receive high-quality service and a memorable experience. This role is responsible for managing daily hotel activities, maintaining the property, and ensuring financial profitability. The Hotel Attendent will work closely with department heads to ensure that all departments run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with the company's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance. Ensure that all departments meet company policies and standards. Manage guest services and satisfaction, addressing any issues or complaints promptly.
Financial Management:
Prepare and manage the hotel budget, overseeing costs and ensuring profitability. Develop pricing strategies to optimize occupancy rates and maximize revenue. Monitor and manage financial reports, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
Staff Management:
Hire, train, and manage hotel staff, ensuring excellent performance and a positive work environment. Conduct performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities. Ensure compliance with all labor laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
Guest Relations:
Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained across all departments. Respond to guest complaints, feedback, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Build relationships with repeat guests and VIPs to foster loyalty.
Marketing and Sales:
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the hotel and its services. Develop and execute sales strategies to increase bookings and occupancy rates. Track competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
Maintenance and Facilities Management:
Ensure the hotel property is well-maintained, clean, and safe for guests and staff. Oversee routine inspections and repairs of hotel facilities and equipment. Ensure compliance with all local and national health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Prepare reports for senior management, including financial performance, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and group bookings. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all hotel operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar role (5+ years). Strong understanding of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage services. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple departments and handle high-pressure situations. Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to the hospitality industry. Proficient in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, RMS, or similar systems). Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Multilingual capabilities. Previous experience in luxury or boutique hotel management. Certification in hospitality management or related fields.
Working Conditions:
Full-time, with flexible hours based on the needs of the hotel. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. May be required to stand for extended periods or lift up to 25 lbs.
