Job description: Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a strategic thinker with a solid background in hospitality management, operations management, and human resources.
Role and Responsibilities:
Oversee all day-to-day operations of the Hotel. Ensure all guest rooms, common areas, and hotel grounds meet standards of cleanliness, upkeep, on a daily basis Lead all onsite team members - assisting desk agents, maintenance technicians, and housekeepers while promoting a healthy team culture. Troubleshoot problems as they arise with a proactive attitude and mindset. Work with the Regional Manager and Ownership to create a positive guest experience and achieve high guest satisfaction scores and budgeted revenues. Job Requirements Candidates seeking this position must have a coachable attitude (willingness to listen and learn) and an ability to work in a team environment. Candidates seeking this position must be Self-Starters (ability to take initiative). Ability to operate and learn computer software. Ability to identify problems, formulate a plan, and take action to have the issue corrected. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Ability to achieve high Guest satisfaction scores Experience Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential. Strong background in customer service with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to cater to diverse guest needs. At least 2-4 years previous experience as a General Manager will be advantageous, previous experience with Choice Hotels a plus. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
