TEMPORARY
Front Desk / Office Manager Position Summary The Front Desk / Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all front office operations to ensure exceptional guest service, efficient daily operations, and a welcoming hotel environment. This position manages front desk staff, coordinates guest services, handles administrative duties, and works closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to maintain high hospitality standards. This is a

position. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supervise and support front desk operations during all shifts Provide outstanding guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly Train, coach, schedule, and evaluate front desk team members Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes Monitor room inventory, reservations, and occupancy levels Handle cash, billing, and credit card transactions accurately Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, rates, promotions, and local attractions Coordinate communication between departments including housekeeping and maintenance Assist with payroll, supply ordering, and administrative office tasks Monitor guest satisfaction scores and online reviews Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and company policies Prepare daily reports, shift audits, and operational summaries Assist with sales efforts, group bookings, and revenue optimization when needed Cover front desk shifts as necessary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Qualifications Previous hotel front desk or hospitality management experience preferred Strong customer service and leadership skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Experience with hotel property management systems preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills Professional appearance and demeanor High school diploma or GED required; hospitality degree preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays Benefits (Optional Section) Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Employee hotel discounts Opportunities for advancement Job Type Full-Time Schedule 8-hour shifts Day, evening, weekend, and holiday availability required Work Location On-site at hotel property
