We are proud to be locally owned and operated by Jury Hotel Group. We are currently seeking an Front Desk Manager
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(other duties may be assigned) Building and nurturing a performance driven, guest-oriented, culture at the front desk. Assisting in managing all aspects of front desk operations and team members, including selections, training and development, scheduling, and managing performance with guidance of the Rooms Division Manager. Greeting guests, answering telephones, and checking guests in and out. Resolving more complex guest requests or concerns that may arise. Preparing proactively for guest arrivals, in coordination with the housekeeping, sales, food & beverage, and other operating departments. Assisting with baggage handling, valet and shuttle service, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous front desk supervisor or management experience is required. Experience in a full-service hotel setting is strongly preferred. Experience with PEP Property Management System strongly preferred. A valid driver's license is required.
ABILITIES
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays to meet business needs. Ability to cover any shift in the event of call-offs or other operational needs. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to manage effectively and develop strong working relationships with up to 10 direct reports. Ability to lift or exert force of up to 20 lbs. Ability to be detail-oriented and visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and sanitation. Ability to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Ability to be highly visible and interact with guests for the majority of the shift.
