Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Hotel General Manager who is capable with ability to implement standard industry policy and promote positive guest experiences in our independently branded hotel and restaurant. Expectations are to oversee day to day operations, drive revenue growth, lead our hospitality team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily hotel operations, manage staff, and drive revenue growth while maintaining the highest standards of service. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, possesses strong supervisory and communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations. Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue, occupancy rates, and profitability through effective revenue management techniques. Oversee guest relations to ensure outstanding customer service, resolving issues promptly and maintaining high satisfaction levels. Manage human resources functions such as training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated team. Monitor budget adherence, control expenses, and optimize operational costs without compromising service quality. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel and corporate policies, and industry standards. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to support hotel operations and guest amenities. Oversee night audit procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting at the end of each day. Skills Proven supervisory experience within the hospitality or hotel management industry. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable. Extensive knowledge of hospitality management practices including guest services, human resources, budgeting, and revenue management. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Familiarity with front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and night audit procedures. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced resort or hotel environment. Proficiency in hotel management software systems and basic financial reporting tools.
