Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Front Desk Supervisor will oversee all operations of the front office. They are responsible for leading the Front Desk team and ensuring that the highest level of service and that company standards are met and maintained at all times. The ideal candidate will be charismatic, courteous, reliable and genuinely cares about others and supporting their staff in creating a phenomenal guest experience.
Key Qualifications:
Hospitality experience required with a strong knowledge of Reno and the surrounding areas Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with difficult situations in a diplomatic manner while exhibiting professionalism and consistent enthusiasm Excellent communication, guest service and time management skills Able to organize plan ahead and manage workload effectively Ability to multitask effectively in an innovative, fast-paced environment Experience using Opera/Micros preferred Excellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office Minimum one year of Front Desk Supervisor experience Minimum two years Customer Service experience Open availability Hilton PEP Systems knowledge a plus Holidays and Weekends are required College or University degree in Hospitality/Customer Service or experience in a guest services role preferred
Description:
As Front Desk Supervisor you will handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and in a professional manner, informing guests of hotel's facilities at time of registration, engage each guest as a unique individual and listen attentively to their requests, issues and pro-actively resolve in a manner satisfactory to both the guest and hotel. As a Supervisor, you will be leading the Front Office team and providing the training and support necessary to provide a memorable experience that exceeds all guest expectations. You will be responsible for a cash float throughout your shift and ensuring all floats balance correctly at the end of shift, have knowledge of in-house groups, coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest special requests, keep work area neat and tidy, make sure your uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional and are in accordance with The Whitney Peak Hotel Grooming policy.
